Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Virtual Care Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver professional nursing care and clinical support to patients via virtual platforms.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in applicable state or compact license.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients via virtual/remote care platforms.
• Performs patient assessments, care coordination, education, documentation, and monitoring using EMR and other healthcare tech systems.
• Builds collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and the care team to promote quality outcomes and patient safety.
• Adheres to policies, nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines in a virtual setting.

Responsibilities

• The Virtual Care RN provides professional nursing care and clinical support for assigned patients through virtual and remote care platforms.
• Accountable for performing patient assessments, care coordination, patient education, clinical documentation, and ongoing patient monitoring whileutilizingmultiple healthcare technology systems, including the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Establishes collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to promote quality outcomes, patient safety, and continuity of care.
• Adheres to organizational policies, professional nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and privacy guidelines to ensure safe, compliant, and patient-centered care in a virtual environment.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing, must be compact license

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing
