As we continue to expand our practice, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic team.

Position: Virtual Business Immigration Paralegal

Location: California.

Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of business immigration matters, including EB1A, NIW, E1/E2, H1B, PERM, O-1, L1A, L1B, TN, R and others.
  • Draft, prepare, and review immigration forms, petitions, and supporting documentation with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Conduct extensive legal research on immigration laws, regulations, and precedents to support case strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and successful case outcomes.
  • Assist attorneys with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining case files, calendars, and deadlines.
  • Stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures to provide informed guidance and recommendations to the legal team and clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of all types of business-immigration cases.
  • Keep track of each case's progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Proficiency in preparing and filing various immigration petitions, forms, and applications.
  • Strong understanding of other immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Identify potential issues in cases early and propose effective solutions.
  • Handle complex cases with minimal supervision, showcasing strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in immigration case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
