Responsibilities
  • Model and train staff in Positive Behavior Support methodology
  • Serve on Interdisciplinary Teams (IDTs) to provide expertise on behavioral issues
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and provide analytic interpretations of results
  • Deliver direct behavioral treatment, including skills training and crisis de-escalation
  • Participate in relevant committees and ensure compliance with treatment requirements
Qualifications
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Completion of 10 hours of annual continuing education training related to behavior supports
  • Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to individuals and small groups
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized training in applied behavior principles and risk identification
  • Experience in conducting functional analyses and behavior plan assessments
  • Familiarity with crisis management procedures and training
