Are you an experienced Bankruptcy paralegal with a passion for detail and exceptional client service? Join Equivity, a leading provider of virtual legal support across the U.S., as a remote Bankruptcy paralegal!

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and file Chapter 11, 7, and 13 bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and related documents.

• Prepare for and support hearings, including 341 Meetings of Creditors.

• Communicate with clients, courts, and creditors to gather and manage case information.

• Use tools like BestCase and Clio to maintain organized and accurate case files.

• Maintain timely communication with clients between 9 AM – 6 PM (your local time).

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 3+ years of recent Bankruptcy paralegal experience, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.

• Experience with Chapter 11 is strongly preferred, as this will be a key focus of the role.

• 3+ years working remotely in a law firm or legal services environment.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and case management software (e.g., Clio).

• Proficient with legal research platforms and bankruptcy software (e.g., BestCase).

• Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.

• Quiet, dedicated workspace for client and team calls.

• Experience in an additional area of law is preferred (e.g., litigation, family law, or probate).
