Are you a skilled and detail-oriented nurse with a passion for healthcare documentation? Join our dynamic team as a Remote RN Nurse / MA and play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers with accurate and efficient medical charting. As a Remote Nurse / MA, you will be remotely connected to the internet with a U.S. doctor who is conducting a medical examination of a patient. You will be expected to make certain that test results are in the chart and prescriptions are filled. You are responsible for alerting the doctor to missing information needed for appropriate diagnoses and billing. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient care while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. We are based in Seattle, Washington, and this position will be 8 am-5 pm Pacific Standard Time. This position requires 1 year of experience. Responsibilities: • Patient Communications: Manage patient messages promptly, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions. • Triage Calls: Receive and handle patient triage calls, assess urgency, and relay pertinent information to physicians for timely action. • Medication and supplement recommendations: Enter and manage medications and supplement recommendations as directed by physicians. • Task Completion: Responsibly manage tasks delegated by physicians, ensuring completion within 24 hours of receipt. Prioritize assignments effectively to meet deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency. • Appointment scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments efficiently, considering physician availability and patient needs. • Records Management: Request and manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. • Pharmacy communications: Contact pharmacies to facilitate changes or corrections to medication prescriptions as per the physician's instructions. • Clinical Support: Assist physicians in various clinically oriented tasks as needed, contributing to efficient healthcare. Attendance and contribution to team meetings. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all privacy and security regulations in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Qualifications: • Registered Nurse (RN) License is active and in good standing. • Clinical experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting, in a similar role,e preferably with a US company. • Medical scribing: an asset. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English proficiency. Demonstrates exceptional fluency and clarity in verbal and written communication, ensuring effective and articulate interactions with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals. • Medical Terminology: Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and a strong understanding of healthcare procedures and diagnoses. • Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and other relevant software for documentation purposes. Can type quickly and accurately. • Remote Work Skills: Comfortable and proficient in remote work settings, with a reliable internet connection, backup internet, and power source. Work station with a 2-monitor setup. • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize responsibilities effectively. • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with varying workloads based on provider needs. • Empathy and compassion: Demonstrates empathy and compassion in patient interactions. Compensation: $14,000 - $14,400 yearly
