Base pay range

$19.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Job Type: 1099 Contractor

Location: Remote, U.S. only (Not hiring in California, Colorado, Montana, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania)

Pay Range: starts at $19-$22 per hour, based on experience and skill set. Contractors are paid a fixed rate once per month based on the number of contracted hours. BELAY does not guarantee hours or clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calendar & Email Management: Coordinate schedules, respond to correspondence, and prioritize tasks.
  • Grant & Donor Management: Research funding opportunities, assist with grant applications, and maintain donor databases.
  • Event & Fundraising Coordination: Organize virtual or in-person events, manage RSVPs, and assist with fundraising campaigns.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Design polished presentations, create impact reports, and organize financial statements.
  • Social Media Management: Promote campaigns, initiatives, and donor outreach across social media platforms.
  • CRM Administration: Maintain donor and client databases like Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, or other non-profit CRM platforms.
  • Project Management: Streamline processes and oversee project timelines.
  • Travel & Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel and accommodations for events or conferences.

Key Qualifications & Attributes

  • Administrative Experience: At least 1 year of administrative experience is required, and 3+ years of administrative experience is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in managing administrative tasks and juggling multiple deadlines.
  • Self-Starter: Proactive in a remote setting, able to anticipate needs and solve problems.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and non-profit CRMs.
  • Professional Communication: Strong written and verbal skills, with a friendly, professional demeanor.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable managing shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Availability: Must be available Monday–Friday during business hours and able to dedicate at least 15 hours per week.
  • Tech Requirements: Reliable internet, home office setup, and familiarity with tools like Zoom, Slack, and Asana.
  • Background Check: Fingerprinting, a background check, and a signed NDA may be required before contracting.
