A leading international sports agency seeks a Finance & Admin Assistant for a remote role, focused on managing finances and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates should have experience in finance operations, be detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
Our client, a boutique, fast-paced, international, sports agency is seeking a Finance & Admin Assistant to work closely with their founder to ensure the daily smooth running of the business. A remote first role, we’re looking for a trustworthy, self-motivated, and experienced Finance & Admin Assistant to join this close-knit, remote team in delivering excellence for their clients (who are often high-profile sports people). This role is ideal for someone confident with numbers, experienced in finance operations, and comfortable working across multiple platforms in a fast-moving, highly confidential environment. The work is detail-heavy, and time-sensitive and the business pride themselves on delivering a high standard of service with discretion, precision, and reliability. If you are looking for a remote first role and have a proven track record of success in comparable positions, then we would love to hear from you. The existing team are all self employed and are paid as freelancers and the client would like a similar arrangement again. Open minded on hours/days worked, but ideally seeking someone that is available a minimum of 3-4 days a week and preferably someone who doesn’t object to occasional out of hours, this role could suit someone who already had their own book of clients, or indeed, someone looking for a flexible, remote first role but one with stability and longevity. Salary dependant on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Finance:
• Manage bank reconciliations across multiple accounts and currencies, including credit cards
• Monitor inbound payments from tournaments, sponsors, and other partners
• Process expense submissions via Dext and post accurately into Xero
• Conduct credit control, following up on unpaid tournament or sponsorship invoices
• Keep client personal and payment information accurate and up to date
Admin:
• Process urgent documents and visa applications
• Respond to ad hoc or time-sensitive tasks via WhatsApp, email, and other channels
• Assist with visa's, logistics, research, client orders, and misc requests and research etc.

What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in finance, bookkeeping, or operations, ideally in a fast-paced or remote business
• Confident using Xero, Dext, Excel, and tracking multi-currency payments
• Familiarity with Trello and WhatsApp for task and team coordination
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple moving parts
• A discreet, trustworthy team player who values confidentiality and professionalism
• Strong written communication skills and a calm, clear tone under pressure
• Comfortable working independently and remotely
• Reliable availability, with flexibility to support weekend or out-of-hours tasks during busy periods
