Overview
Virology Care Specialist - Los Angeles (Contract) – Remote (geography based). At Invivyd, Inc., we aim to deliver protection from serious viral infectious diseases, beginning with SARS-CoV-2. This is a contract position with potential for transition to full-time; compensation includes base salary and incentive compensation.

Responsibilities
- Learn and apply Invivyd's sales model, collaborating with your manager and team to build confidence in account management and territory development
- Understand the broader healthcare landscape including provider offices, hospitals, and health systems, and how decisions are made across these settings
- Develop compliant relationships with health care providers by understanding their needs and sharing accurate, balanced information about Invivyd’s products and solutions
- Manage your territory with accountability and drive, staying compliant with company policies and industry regulations
- Engage in compliant clinical and business conversations with doctors and office staff to support appropriate patient care decisions
- Deliver compelling product presentations and educational discussions using approved resources in line with training and compliance requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, market access, and other teams to support customer needs
- Gather and share customer insights to help Invivyd improve how we serve providers and patients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; background in life sciences, healthcare, or related field is a plus
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or healthcare-related work (internships, entry-level, or relevant academic projects valued)
- Proven winning attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Coachable and eager to learn; able to receive feedback and grow into a high-performing sales professional
- Demonstrated persistence, resilience, agility, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of territory responsibilities
- High standards of integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to compliance
- Passion for making a difference in patients’ lives and a desire to be part of a mission-driven company
- Ability to travel up to 100% across a broad geography (including overnights) and to drive or fly within the territory
- Ability to be in the field five days a week, with completion of all administrative tasks related to the role
- Candidates must reside within the stated territory
- Strong ability to communicate clinical product information and to gain access to hard-to-see customers
