Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking an Associate Scientist 1 – Virology to perform biosafety assays and maintain rigorous documentation in our Biologics lab. You will work under minimal supervision, following SOPs and ensuring data quality across studies.

Responsibilities include operating lab equipment, peer reviewing records, and communicating deviations to management. The role emphasizes health, safety, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Laboratory skills and adherence to SOPs for biologics testing.
• Experience with cGMP/GLP and accurate documentation practices.
• Ability to maintain detailed lab records and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Performs assays for Biologics laboratory testing according to SOPs and regulations.
• Maintains complete records for study integrity and data traceability.
• Operates and maintains lab equipment as required by procedures.
• Performs peer review of assay batch/lab records to ensure Right First Time.
• Communicates deviations, progress and interim results to Study Management.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
