Just Construction Recruitment is seeking a Project Manager for public sector construction in Virginia. Based in Richmond/Central Virginia, you will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with owners, subcontractors, field teams, and internal stakeholders.

You’ll manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and change orders on projects ranging from $5M to $12M, with opportunities to handle larger programs as we expand across the state.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of construction Project Management experience.
• Commercial / General Contracting background.
• Experience managing projects through completion.
• Public-sector, municipal, government, or K-12 experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Construction Management / Engineering degree preferred, not essential.

Responsabilités

• Manage projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Oversee schedule, budget, cost control, quality, and documentation.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and subcontractors.
• Lead project meetings and owner communications.
• Coordinate field teams, vendors, consultants, and project partners.
• Support estimating and preconstruction when required.
