Key Responsibilities
  • Review clinical information to ensure it meets Medical Necessity Criteria for service authorization
  • Maintain knowledge of managed care contracting, regulatory compliance, and clinical review requirements
  • Ensure accurate information is entered into the claims system for payment processing
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Masters of Counseling, OR Masters of Social Work, OR Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Current license as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or RN in Virginia
  • 2 years of clinical experience in behavioral health
  • 1 year of experience in behavioral health care coordination or transitions of care
  • Experience with substance use preferred but not required
