Our Client in Virginia is seeking a licensed Estates and Trusts attorney to join a growing practice group. The role supports clients with estate planning and estate/trust administration, with flexibility on work arrangements and an Arlington, VA office option.

The ideal candidate will be licensed in Virginia, experienced in estate planning or administration, and capable of handling matters from initial consultation through implementation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required.
• Active Virginia Bar License required.
• Preferred DC Bar License and Maryland Bar License.
• Experience in estate planning and/or estate and trust administration.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to design and implement comprehensive estate plans, including wills and trusts.
• Oversee drafting and execution of estate planning documents with staff.
• Guide fiduciaries through estate and trust administration from intake to closing.
• Assist with probate filings and Virginia court requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and manage expectations.
