Your Talent Team is assisting a respected Virginia law firm in recruiting an Attorney for its Virginia Beach team. This role focuses on civil litigation for creditors' rights with no billable hour requirements and a base salary plus potential bonuses.

You will handle litigation from start to finish, draft pleadings, negotiate settlements, and manage a caseload across the territory with on-site days and travel as needed. A Virginia Bar License is required.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia law license is required.
• Ability to analyze cases and negotiate settlements.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prioritize deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.

Responsabilités

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• 2–3 days on-site travel for signing and court appearances.
• Negotiate settlements and pursue efficient resolution of disputes.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances in your territory.
• Collaborate with staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across matters.

Our client, a respected law firm specializing in legal recoveries and creditors' rights, is seeking an Attorney to join its growing Virginia Beach, Virginia based team. For more than two decades, the firm has represented financial institutions and creditors across multiple states, earning a reputation for delivering effective legal solutions and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
• 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing
• Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
• Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
• Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.

Qualifications

• Active law license in the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
