We are seeking a VIP Travel Counselor (based out of Hawaii) to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our executive travelers and travel arrangers, you will provide high-touch, personalized travel services that ensure seamless, exceptional travel experiences. Our VIP team is a dedicated, close-knit group, and you will work closely with peers and leadership to deliver an unparalleled level of service. Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently manage travel requests via multiple channels (phone, email, chat, etc.), ensuring all corporate travel policies and industry standards are followed
- Deliver concierge-level consultation by providing personalized support beyond standard bookings, including upgrades, profile updates and special requests.
- Provide expert guidance on optimal routing, fares, international travel requirements, health restrictions, and corporate policies to ensure the best travel experience.
- Leverage creative problem-solving skills to proactively resolve travel challenges and optimize itineraries.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail, anticipating potential issues and mitigating them proactively.
- Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, accuracy, and average handle time (AHT) while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Adhere to company standards regarding tool utilization, workflow processes, and attendance expectations.
- Thrive under pressure, adapting quickly to changing priorities and unexpected challenges.
- Foster a collaborative and service-oriented team environment, sharing best practices and supporting peers
- Must reside in Hawaii
- 5+ years of corporate travel experience, with a strong focus on VIP and executive-level travel services.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to anticipate traveler needs and provide clear, professional, and personalized consultation.
- Advanced expertise in international travel, routing, fares, and complex exchanges, ensuring seamless and cost-effective solutions for travelers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to address immediate challenges while recommending long-term efficiency improvements.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities, maintaining a high standard of accuracy, customer service, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed performance standards, including quality, accuracy, and efficiency metrics.
