Job summary

BCD Travel is hiring a VIP Travel Agent (Remote) in the United States. This full-time role offers a 11:30am-8pm Eastern shift (or 11am-7:30pm). You will provide high-touch service to key client travelers and efficiently handle requests via phone and email.

You will expertly use the BCD Travel tools to search and confirm reservations, guide clients on travel policies, manage regulations (DOT/TSA/passports/visas), apply supplier rules, and stay current with industry changes.

Qualifications

• VIP travel and international travel experience required.
• Working knowledge of travel policies, procedures, and processes.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Familiarity with travel rules and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Use the appropriate BCD Travel tools to complete requests.
• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer.
• Guide and consult on client travel policy and procedures.
• Fulfill requests regarding regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas).
• Apply travel supplier rules and maintain knowledge of industry standards.
• Keep current with the state of the travel industries supported.

What You'll Do

• Search and confirm travel reservations for the customer
• Have a strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge and application of travel supplier rules
• Maintain, actively communicate, and seek expansion of current knowledge of the state of the various travel industries supported

The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of VIP Travel Consultant is between $55,000 and $62,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience and geographical location.

This position requires flexibility regarding work schedules. Assignments may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as determined by business needs.
