Job summary

Westin/Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport guests and staff by shuttle van, ensuring safety and adherence to local traffic laws. You will log trips, coordinate with the catering team for scheduled rides, and maintain vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability and compliance with resort rules. Ideal candidates hold a valid driver’s license, possess good communication skills, and can read/write for record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California driver’s license and be approved by company insurance.
• Ability to read and write for communication and records.
• Good communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must understand basic numeracy for logs and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the shuttle van and follow California traffic laws.
• Transport guests within a 5-mile radius on request and within 10 miles for sales/catering guests.
• Maintain logs of passengers, miles, and shuttle operations.
• Coordinate with sales/catering for ride times and changes.
• Keep shuttles clean, fueled, and in good working order.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
