VIP Server POSITION

VIP Server DEPARTMENT: Food & Beverage

REPORTS TO: Food & Beverage Manager

FLSA STATUS: Part-time Hourly, Non-Exempt

SUMMARY

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a VIP Server position with Legends Global/Boeing Center at Tech Port. The VIP server will provide professional client food and beverage services and support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility, while interacting with clients, facility staff and related personnel to assure all event needs are fulfilled.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides guest with exceptional, professional, and attentive food and beverage service within
• Assist with the preparation and set-up
• Report any guest concerns and/or complaints to Food and Beverage Manager
• Provide guidance and support to the temporary staff assigned to an event
• Assist in any and all side work including but not limited to: cleaning and filling salt and pepper containers, sugar dishes, and creamers; collecting banquet equipment such as flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces; and preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and bread
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Must be TABC and Texas Food Handlers certified
• 5 years food service or restaurant experience required

• Minimum 21 years of age

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Working conditions involve noise, heat, changes in temperature, kitchen elements, odors, moisture, etc.

• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Requires moderate physical efforts
• Standing, carrying, bending, stretching, stooping, pulling and pushing, lifting weights up to 50 pounds
• Standing for long hours during events; talk and hear
• May require work inside or outside the building, as needed by events
