Job summary

HighCom Security Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Security Officer to join our Oakland team on a Sunday-Thursday mid shift. You will monitor access, respond to incidents, and support customer-facing operations.

The role requires a valid California Security Guard Card, at least three years of security experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Candidates should pass fitness and drug tests as required.

Qualifications

• Valid California Security Guard Card.
• 3 years of security experience required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• High school diploma or higher.
• Good physical condition.
• Previous law enforcement or military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, control, patrol, and secure physical access to protected facilities.
• Identify and neutralize potential threats to personnel and property.
• Apprehend and detain violators in preparation for police arrival.
• Serve as a mediator in conflict resolution.
• Maintain excellent relationships with law enforcement.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents following procedures.
• Report incidents and assist site management as needed.
