Job summary

The Host position at Katsuya Century City, operated by sbe, is responsible for greeting guests, seating, and managing reservations to ensure a premier guest experience. You will also answer calls and handle take-out orders and special requests with professionalism.

Minimum one year in a contemporary dining setting is preferred. Must be 18+ and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; food handler and RBS certifications may be required. On-site, part-time role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in high-end, service-focused dining environments.
• Must be 18+ years old; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience taking reservations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly and seats them, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Answers phones and manages reservations, take-out orders, and special requests.
• Maintains knowledge of the venue floor plan and seating arrangements for consistency.
• Maintains a clean and organized reception area and performs opening/closing side work.
• Exhibits exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and multitasking abilities.
