Job summary

Five Star Events in Columbus, IN is seeking a Tactical Coordinator to lead front-of-house operations and elevate Cummins Customer Visits catering. You will supervise staff, coordinate packing lists and service schematics, and ensure flawless execution for VIP guests with wine and spirits expertise.

The role demands strong leadership, superb attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-end hospitality setting, including wine service and event coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in food, beverage or hospitality service.
• Supervisor/leadership experience in events or catering.
• Discretion for VIP guests and wine/spirits knowledge.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coach Front of House staff.
• Produce catering packing lists, service schematics, and inventory.
• Conduct on-site walkthroughs to align service expectations.
• Perform bartending, wine service, dining room and setup tasks.
• Schedule, inventory management, and opening/closing procedures.
