Job summary

Destination Pet LLC is hiring a Dog Walker. This on-site role requires standing, lifting up to 40 lbs, and availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll walk dogs, keep them safely leashed, and provide exercise and enrichment while communicating with clients and staff.

Reporting To: General Manager. The position offers part-time hours with pay starting at $14.00–$15.00/hour plus tips, and benefits like health and telehealth in some cases.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet for the duration of shifts.
• Availability in evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to communicate with pet parents and management clearly.

Responsibilities

• Take dogs on individual walks following assigned schedules.
• Ensure dogs are safely leashed and outdoors enjoying activities.
• Provide exercise, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement.
• Observe changes in behavior or health and report to management.
• Check in at the center at start/end of shifts and assist with daily tasks.
