About the role

The Consignment team offers Vestiaire Collective’s VIP consignors a white-glove selling service, managing everything from at-home collections, copywriting, photography, price management, storage, and shipping on behalf of our clients. We are seeking a VIP Consignment Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit, capable of generating relevant leads and driving new business to grow our US market. This position is based in New York City.

What you will do
  • Build and maintain a database of new VIP leads to convert and increase submission volumes, leveraging your network or seeking new VIP consignors through business development skills.
  • Initiate new commercial relationships and develop business initiatives (events, partnerships) to create passive VIP lead generation channels.
  • Design and execute reactivation and referral campaigns to boost business growth.
  • Become an expert on the VIP submissions process to assist the Key Account Manager when needed.
  • Represent the VIP service at brand activations and industry events.
  • Support VIP events as required.
  • Manage your time effectively to exceed targets by converting new leads into VIP clients.
  • Provide professional assistance to clients and handle queries efficiently.
  • Build strong relationships with VIP clients to enhance retention, encourage repeat deposits, and increase sales.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, representing the business during at-home appointments with top clients, curating luxury goods, and offering expert guidance on our services.
  • Optimize clients’ catalogs for rapid and successful sales.
Who you are
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in luxury retail or customer-facing luxury sales roles.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
  • Existing network of potential clients or the ability to quickly build one through referrals.
  • Enthusiastic about the luxury industry, with a strong understanding of customer needs and fashion trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of representing Vestiaire’s values and engaging demanding clients.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Willingness and ability to wear multiple hats in a versatile role.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
