Echo Windy City Transportation is seeking an experienced CDL-B Bus Operator in Broadview, IL. The role emphasizes safety, exceptional customer service, and punctuality while transporting corporate groups, colleges, and private clients.

Operators are responsible for safe vehicle operation, inspections, basic troubleshooting, documentation, and maintaining Echo Windy City Transportation standards and professionalism. Must meet pre-employment screenings and comply with DOT rules.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with Passenger (P) endorsement required.
• 3+ years of professional commercial passenger-driving experience.
• Mechanical aptitude and vehicle troubleshooting experience.
• Air Brake endorsement, as applicable to the vehicle operated.
• Minimum age 23; acceptable driving record.
• Successful completion of required pre-employment screening.
• Ability to comply with DOT drug/alcohol testing and Hours of Service requirements.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and work varied shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL Class B passenger vehicles per policies and regulations.
• Transport passengers safely and professionally under varying conditions.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report concerns.
• Maintain vehicle condition and report safety or mechanical issues.
• Follow procedures for operation, fueling, parking, and securing equipment.
• Provide professional, courteous service to every passenger.
• Represent Echo Windy City Transportation positively with clients and publics.
• Provide VIP-level service to corporate clients and groups.
• Assist passengers while maintaining safety and professionalism.
• Respond to questions and requests from passengers.
