Job summary

Citadel Aviation in Lake Charles, Louisiana, seeks an Aircraft Technician II to perform mechanical installations, inspections, and repairs on VIP/maintenance projects in accordance with FAA regulations and OEM specifications. You will work under supervision to advance to independent tasks while ensuring airworthiness and timely re-delivery of aircraft.

Requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to read technical manuals in English.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
3–5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Ability to read/interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, drawings, IPCs, and safety docs in English.
Must bring a personal set of standard trade tools.
Holds a valid driver’s license; able to pass pre-employment DOT/FAA drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and moderately complex maintenance tasks with growing independence.
Remove and install aircraft panels, seating, furnishings, and interior systems.
Conduct mechanical assembly, fittings, layout, and hardware installation using hand and power tools.
Assist with troubleshooting and non-routine maintenance under supervision of senior technicians.
Document work per FAA and Repair Station requirements and complete sign-offs.
