Opus 1 Music Studio in the San Francisco Bay Area invites an experienced Violin Teacher to join our Mountain View/Palo Alto faculty. You will work with a community of internationally recognized teachers and a roster of 1,400+ motivated students.

You will teach violin across all levels—from Suzuki beginners to advanced students preparing for ABRSM, RCM, and conservatory auditions—emphasizing technique, repertoire, and performance at recitals.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching violin to students across all ages and levels.
• Ability to plan lessons and select appropriate repertoire.
• Comfort helping students prepare for recitals and auditions.

Responsibilities

• Teach violin to students across levels in Mountain View/Palo Alto area.

Job description

Opus 1 Music Studio is hiring an experienced Violin Teacher to join our San Francisco Bay Area faculty — based in Mountain View and Palo Alto, California (Silicon Valley). You'll work with a community of internationally recognized teachers, premium facilities with acoustic grand pianos, and a roster of 1,400+ motivated students of all ages.

You'll teach violin students across all levels — from young Suzuki beginners through advanced students preparing for ABRSM, Certificate of Merit, RCM, youth orchestras, and conservatory auditions. Comfort with technique, repertoire selection, and helping students prepare for recurring student recitals is expected.
