Bach to Rock in the United States is seeking an enthusiastic violin instructor to join as a part-time team member. You will deliver private and semi-private lessons using the B2R curriculum, guiding students of various ages to build technique, reading skills, and performance confidence.

Responsibilities include creating a supportive, engaging classroom, assessing readiness for bands or ensembles, and assisting at school events.

Qualifications

• Ability to relate well to children and adults.
• Communicate musical concepts effectively.
• Solid understanding of basic music theory.
• Enjoy teaching music to many different skill levels and ages.
• Experience as a performer.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements.
• Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere.
• Assess a student’s readiness to join a band or ensemble.
