Job summary

Reasors Food Stores in Saint James, MO is seeking vineyard labor to perform planting, suckering, vineyard maintenance, trellis work, irrigation, and related winery duties during harvest season.

Candidates must be dependable, able to work outdoors in all weather, have reliable transportation, and be available any day, including nights during harvest season. Outdoor/agriculture experience is a plus.

Duties:

Participate in all vineyard activities to include but not limited to the following:

• Planting
• Suckering (removal of shoots positioned low on the vine)
• Vineyard maintenance and sanitation
• Trellis repair and install
• Maintenance of grounds
• Irrigation repair and install
• Winery cellar and bottling work as required

Mechanical operations of vineyard.

• Operation of vineyard mechanical equipment
• Fertilizer, chemical handling and application thereof
• General equipment maintenance as required.
• Assist with care and maintenance of grounds and buildings
