Purpose: The Vincentian Services Member Coordinator works to learn and grow in Vincentian Charism to best establish, support and promote Conferences of Charity in Catholic Parishes. The Vincentian Services Member Coordinator has an active role in promoting and instilling the three Pillars of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul: Spirituality, Friendship and Service.
Position Functions:
The Vincentian Services Member Coordinator is a flexible, proactive and responsible team player who knows how to use their skills, gifts, and knowledge to best support the needs of Conferences of Charity throughout the LA Archdiocese. The Vincentian Services Member Coordinator role functions within a team setting, working alongside the District Coordinators to provide support for our volunteer Conference members, through the following-but not limited to: formation opportunities, revitalization and recruitment efforts, plan-prepare-execute District or Council events, create relationships with local community and Church leaders. The Vincentian Services Member Coordinator must be capable of utilizing effective communication, time management, organizational skills, and a passion to serve, to best meet the expectations of the role/position.
