Job summary

The Village of Clemmons is hiring a Planner to provide technical and administrative support for the planning process, including processing development applications, researching records, and preparing information for development review or board meetings. Qualifications: bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years of professional planning experience (NC municipal setting preferred).

Valid NC driver's license; CZO or AICP desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban & Regional Planning or related field (Master’s desirable).
• 2–4 years of professional planning experience, preferably in NC municipal or county government.

Responsibilities

• Process development applications and research records for planning.
• Provide information on ordinances, applications, and regulations.
• Prepare materials for development review, boards, and council meetings.
• Offer technical guidance to staff and engage with the public on planning matters.
