The Village of Bloomingdale seeks a full-time Public Works Management Analyst to provide analytical and technical support for regulatory compliance and day-to-day operations. The Village of Bloomingdale is seeking candidates for one (1) full-time Public Works Management Analyst position. This position is responsible for performing professional, analytical, and technical support functions to assist management with regulatory compliance and the planning, coordinating, and directing of day-to-day department operations. Work is performed under the direction of the Director of Public Works.
The anticipated starting salary for this position is $79,809, dependent on qualifications and experience. The full salary range for this position is $79,809 – $111,737. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in public administration, business management, engineering, construction management, risk management, or a related field, with one to three years of progressively responsible public works and/or utilities operations experience preferred; or any other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform this position. A valid Illinois Driver’s License is required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential to this role. Experience with public works operations, municipal operations, human resources, and/or risk management practices is preferred. This position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office.
