Job summary

Camp Augusta is seeking a Village Leader (Counselor Manager) for the Northern California summer program. The role requires you to organize cabin and village activities, support counselors and campers, and maintain high-energy leadership across two-week sessions.

Housing and meals are provided along with certifications. The position runs May 18 – August 14, 2027, with a seasonal salary of $11,000–$12,000 depending on experience, plus perks and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work or life experience with youth or in management.
• Must be available for full summer (May 18 - Aug 14, 2027).
• Prior meaningful work with children aged 8–16.
• Experience demonstrating leadership and self-management.
• Ability to work at high energy pace for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Organize cabin activities within village and camp-wide efforts.
• Oversee and support counselors and campers in your Village.
• Meet with village counselors at session starts and follow up daily.
• Assist with Parent Letters and Camper Gifts and their distribution.
• Prepare camper and cabin documents for each session.
