A luxury resort in the U.S. seeks a Guest Relations Agent to ensure guests have a memorable stay. You'll assist with check-ins, manage guest requests, and coordinate with various departments to maintain high service standards. The ideal candidate will have a university degree and a year of experience in a similar role, preferably with language skills in Russian.
Maintain availability to provide assistance for any matter related to making the stay of hotel guests a pleasant and memorable one.
Coordinate with Room Service for the delivery of fruits to VIP guests and prepare VIP fruit baskets. Replenish them daily until the guests' departure.
Greet VIP guests upon arrival outside their assigned room and offer assistance.
After check-in, introduce yourself to the guest, escort them to their room, explain room and hotel facilities, and offer assistance for the remainder of their stay.
At times, check in arriving guests and check out departing guests in a friendly and caring manner according to procedures and Rixos standards.
Answer all guest requests and questions in a friendly and caring manner, whether by telephone or in person. Provide or receive information, take appropriate actions, or refer matters to relevant personnel.
Resolve guest complaints/requests and liaise with the concerned department to ensure immediate follow-up.
Be aware of hotel accident prevention policies.
Practice suggestive selling and familiarize guests with hotel facilities.
Coordinate with Front Office to ensure that guest folio payments are secure, including procedures for baggage handling and guest bag release on departure.
Escort guests to their rooms. For first-time guests, explain hotel facilities, including how lights, TV, safe, AC, and fire exits function.
Ensure all guests are greeted upon arrival and departure, escorting each individual in the right direction.
Monitor hotel occupancy, functions, groups, and VIP arrivals.
Provide friendly and courteous service, responding promptly to all requests and inquiries at all times.
At the end of each shift, communicate all relevant information to the next shift to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain continuous contact with hotel guests to ensure that any problems or complaints are handled efficiently and courteously.
Ensure prompt and efficient delivery of messages, newspapers, parcels, and packages to guests as per hotel policy. Arrange guest transportation requests, including limousine service, shuttle bus, and car rental, in coordination with the hotel's car rental partner.
