Job summary

Wright Security Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for clients, employees and visitors in Salem, Oregon. The position emphasizes vigilance, strong observation, incident response, and adherence to safety protocols.

This is an unarmed standing guard role with potential cross-training in other opportunities the company may have. Responsibilities include patrolling, logging hourly or daily reports, inspecting premises for risks, de-escalating

Qualifications

• Certification in security or related field preferred.
• Strong conflict management skills; stay calm under pressure.
• Experience with law enforcement procedures or military experience advantageous.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must obtain unarmed DPSST certification; 18+, valid driver’s license, clean MVR, HS diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety.
• Create hourly or daily logs per site procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections for security risks.
• Manage conflicts using de-escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and provide incident reports.
• Maintain logs of daily activities and incidents.
