This is an unarmed standing guard role with potential cross-training in other opportunities the company may have. Responsibilities include patrolling, logging hourly or daily reports, inspecting premises for risks, de-escalating

Qualifications

• Certification in security or related field preferred.
• Strong conflict management skills; stay calm under pressure.
• Experience with law enforcement procedures or military experience advantageous.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must obtain unarmed DPSST certification; 18+, valid driver’s license, clean MVR, HS diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Currently WSE is looking for an unarmed standing guard with the possibility of cross training in other opportunities the company may have.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
• create hourly, or daily log reports per site standard operating procedure.
• Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential security risks.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents for record-keeping.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Certification in security or related field is preferred.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Familiarity with law enforcement procedures or military experience is advantageous.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Be able to acquire an unarmed certification through DPSST, in which the min requirements are:
  • Be over the age of 18. MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE (MOBILE APPLICANT) and have a clean MVR.
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Do not have a disqualifying felony
