You will monitor for disturbances, investigate incidents, and file detailed reports as part of a broad safety program. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, at least one year of security experience, a valid Security Guard License, and a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of working experience.
• Current Security Guard License required.
• CA driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor facility and surrounding areas to guard against suspicious activities.
• Patrol building and grounds by foot and vehicle.
• Fulfills front desk duties during off-hours such as answering calls and assisting customers.
• Contact authorities in emergencies.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and exit of personnel, visitors, and vendors.
• Escort personnel to their cars or department as requested.
• Inspect entry points (doors, windows, gates) to ensure security.
• Respond to alarms and disturbances; escalate as needed.
• Complete incident reports for irregularities or incidents.
• Relay escalated incidents to appropriate department.
• Inspect and adjust security systems and equipment for operation.
