Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Security Officer to ensure safety of the premises, assets, and people. You will patrol, deter crime, and enforce policies while delivering extraordinary customer service and maintaining professional conduct.

The role requires good communication, vigilance, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents. BSIS training familiarity and bilingualism are advantageous for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Security Guard and customer service experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of Spanish and English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide security to the business, occupants, customers, and vendors.
• Patrol premises and remain vigilant to deter theft and disturbances.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce company policies with integrity.
• Prepare activity and incident reports; coordinate with authorities when needed.
• Maintain visible presence and professional communications with the Asset Protection team.
• Follow all BSIS regulations and company procedures.
