Job summary

Allied Community Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) who speaks Vietnamese fluently to provide one-on-one support in home and community settings. This is a part-time role with a flexible schedule, designed for compassionate individuals committed to helping clients live more independently.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documentation, and promoting community engagement, all while following individualized plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Reliable transportation to client homes and activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse needs.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and follow detailed support plans.
• Speak Vietnamese fluently and be familiar with Vietnamese culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to individuals in homes and the community.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including hygiene, meals, light chores, and basic skills support.
• Encourage social engagement and community integration through activities.
• Follow individualized support plans and goals for each person.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation, progress notes, and incidents.
