Job summary

RapportIntl in Omaha, NE seeks qualified interpreters for in-person interpretation to support local Nebraska clients. This is an independent contractor, PRN, part-time role with flexible hours.

Must be fully bilingual (Vietnamese preferred), have reliable transportation, and access to a printer. HIPAA confidentiality is required, and familiarity with medical terminology helps. Availability is primarily Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, with hours based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual (as required)
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• IN PERSON interpreters only; must have transportation to attend appointments locally
• Technical skills for learning/using online portal (printing and uploading vouchers)
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• Schedule is PRN (as needed), part time (or less depending on languages spoken) with some availability M-F 7AM-5PM

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person interpretation for medical facilities and clients as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all interpretations
• Navigate online portal and attach vouchers as required
• Be available on a PRN, part-time basis with flexible hours based on client demand
