Job summary

rapportintl seeks qualified, fully bilingual interpreters for in-person interpretation in the Omaha area. Immediate need for Karenni interpreters. Strong confidentiality and HIPAA compliance required, with availability Mon–Fri 7:00–17:00 and access to a printer for vouchers.

This is an independent contractor, PRN role with flexible hours and no guaranteed schedule. Candidates must have transportation to attend local appointments and be able to learn/use the online portal.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual with interpretation experience
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
• In-person interpreters only with transportation to attend appointments locally
• Experience using online interpreter portal and printing/uploading vouchers
• Must have access to a printer
• Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
• Background checks and drug screens required
• PRN, part-time or less depending on languages spoken; available M-F 7AM–5PM
