LanguageBridge Solutions is seeking experienced Vietnamese-English Medical Interpreters based in the United States to join our remote healthcare interpreting team. The role involves providing accurate OPI and VRI interpretation between Vietnamese-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals.

You will facilitate clear communication, interpret medical terminology accurately, and maintain neutrality and confidentiality.

Formación

• Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
• Previous Medical Interpreter experience preferred.
• OPI and/or VRI interpretation experience preferred.
• Must be based in the United States and able to work remotely.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide accurate and confidential Vietnamese-English interpretation during healthcare-related calls and video sessions.
• Facilitate clear communication between patients, healthcare providers, and other medical professionals.
• Interpret medical terminology, instructions, questions, and conversations accurately and professionally.
• Maintain neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality throughout every interpretation session.
• Follow established interpreting procedures, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Demonstrate strong listening, communication, and cultural awareness skills.
• Handle a high volume of interpretation sessions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Use required interpreting platforms, communication systems, and technical equipment effectively.
• Maintain a quiet, professional, and reliable remote working environment.

• RequirementsFluent in Vietnamese and English.
• Previous experience as a Medical Interpreter is preferred.
• OPI and/or VRI interpreting experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare communication.
• Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to accurately interpret conversations without adding, omitting, or changing information.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate equipment for remote interpretation.
• Must be currently based in the United States.

Compensation Competitive compensation in USD, with potential for enhanced compensation depending on relevant experience, qualifications, and assessment results.
