Job summary

Remotebridge is seeking a Vietnamese Bilingual Expert on a contract basis to support an AI training project. The role is remote and focuses on high-quality linguistic input without requiring AI experience.

You will evaluate Vietnamese audio for nativeness, pronunciation, and authenticity, document feedback in English, and collaborate with coordinators to ensure clear, consistent results that help improve model performance.

Qualifications

• Native-level Vietnamese with strong written and spoken proficiency.
• English must be at least level B2 for written/verbal communication.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription or linguistic assessment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Vietnamese audio and evaluate nativeness and fluency of speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to guidelines.
• Document assessments with clear written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency.

In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

• Listen to audio clips in Vietnamese and evaluate the nativeness and fluency of the speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity according to established guidelines.
• Document your assessments with clear, concise written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency in results.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
• Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in Vietnamese language understanding and generation.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high standards of quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level proficiency in Vietnamese, with strong command of both spoken and written language.
• Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, especially for written and verbal communication.
• Background in voice specialization, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields is prefered.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is highly valued.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to articulate nuanced language differences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
• Familiarity with media, communications, or teaching is considered an asset.
