Job summary

IMAX is seeking an in-office Videographer/Editor to capture high-quality video and deliver compelling editorial storytelling. This role requires a skilled videographer, producer and editor who can develop and execute engaging visual stories from concept to delivery, balancing polished creative work with quick-turnaround edits.

The candidate should manage shoots, edit content for AV spots, sizzle reels, branded content and social assets, and ensure brand guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in film, media, or related field preferred.
• Proven videography and editing experience with strong producer/editor instincts.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud; motion design and rotoscoping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Edit AV materials to create multiple video versions and cutdowns.
• Manage editing projects from start to finish and secure required assets.
• Plan and conduct high-quality video shoots with lighting and audio.
• Produce engaging AV spots, branded content, sizzles, and social assets.
• Refresh brand content for diverse platforms and audiences.
• Coordinate with Production Managers to deliver AV materials.
• Oversee post-production workflows with senior staff.
• Organize video files and prep for delivery.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
• Maintain gear logs and operate video equipment.
• Consult on video captures with other departments.
• Assist onboarding freelance editors.
