Job summary

POLA Marketing is seeking a Video Editor / Colorist to join our creative team in Covington, LA. You’ll transform raw footage into cinematic content for regional and national brands, focusing on post-production, color, and finishing touches.

You’ll edit across commercials, branded content, and social media, applying DaVinci Resolve color grading, audio sweetening, and motion graphics as needed, while collaborating with producers and clients to implement feedback.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of color correction, cinematic color grading, and finishing workflows.
• Excellent storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills.
• Experience with audio editing, cleanup, and sound design.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Ability to accept feedback, collaborate with a creative team, and work independently when needed.
• A portfolio or demo reel demonstrating professional editing and color grading experience.

About the Role

POLA Marketing is seeking a talented Video Editor / Colorist to join our creative team. This role is focused on post- production, transforming professionally captured footage into polished, cinematic content that helps brands stand out.

You’ll work on a variety of commercial, branded, documentary, and social media projects for regional and national clients. If you’re passionate about storytelling through editing, obsessed with color, and enjoy putting the finishing touches on great work, we’d love to meet you.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with RED, Blackmagic, Sony, Canon, or similar cinema camera footage.
• Familiarity with Blackmagic Cloud and collaborative DaVinci Resolve workflows.
• Experience editing content for advertising, branded campaigns, and social media.
