522 Productions is seeking a Videographer/Editor to work on site at a Government location in Washington, DC, delivering innovative video content for a diverse audience. You’ll edit, shoot, and produce content, coordinate with teams, and manage projects from concept through final delivery.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, strong organization, and ability to meet tight deadlines are essential. The role is full-time, on-site with telework options for certain tasks.

Qualifications

Degree/certification in communications, graphic design, video production, digital communications, or related field preferred.
At least three (3) years of experience in multiple digital media functional areas, including video, publication/syndication, web production, audio and photo editing, and motion graphics.
Must have professional, relevant, and timely experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Team Projects in both Mac and PC environments.
Skill/experience with graphic design and animation tools preferred for simple animations like lower thirds, title slides, and end card CTAs

Responsibilities

Consults with customers and stakeholders to determine needs and ensure customer satisfaction of desired services in videography, video editing and motion graphics.
Designs and produces concepts and approaches for video, working with cross-functional team members to ensure the video meets the customers’ expectations.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current multimedia editing software and techniques, emphasizing the Adobe Creative Suite. Assists with training team members using video equipment and multimedia software tools.
Performs other official duties as assigned

Location: Primarily at the client's site in Washington DC

Scope:

The Videographer / Editor will be responsible for managing video projects from initial concept through to final production. This includes working closely with team members to develop original content, executing on-location shoots, and handling post-production tasks such as editing and sound design. The role also involves supporting live multi-camera events and creating virtual classes or breakout sessions. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of video production techniques, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements:

Job Expectations:

Experience posting, linking, and embedding content online including using YouTube
Ability and comfort to make multiple rounds of revisions on tight time frame
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Complex problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities
Ability to operate effectively in a team environment
Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and competing priorities
Excellent organizational skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Need to be able to work out of the DC office on a routine basis - telework available
Has experience developing educational content, instructional materials, and video presentations
