Job summary

The Dallas Mavericks are seeking a talented Videographer to create engaging video content that brings the organization to life. You will plan, shoot, and edit footage spanning on-court moments, marketing, community events, and behind-the-scenes storytelling.

Responsibilities include developing storyboards, scripting support, operating professional video/lighting gear, and ensuring brand-aligned output across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in film, media production, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional videography experience.
• Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality video and record audio across the organization, including game night and practice footage, marketing shoots, community events, and behind-the-scenes content.
• Plan video shoots, develop storyboards, and assist with scripting and scheduling.
• Operate and maintain professional video and lighting equipment, ensuring proper settings and capturing high-quality footage.
• Edit raw footage using software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects), adding motion graphics, sound, and effects.
• Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide input.
• Organize, manage, and archive video files and project assets.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives and specs.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines, and adapt to various environments.
