Samaritan's Purse in Boone, NC, is seeking a Videographer/Assistant Editor to capture and craft compelling stories from events. You will handle ENG/EFP shoots, lighting, audio, and post‑production coordination, delivering finished videos that align with our communications goals.

The role requires a BA and 3–5 years of related experience, travel readiness for domestic and international assignments, and strong collaboration with writers and directors to tell impactful narratives through video.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of video production techniques, lighting, and field audio.
• Knowledge of visual storytelling and post-production workflows.
• Experience with non-linear editing systems.
• 12 credit hours of Biblical Studies required; may be fulfilled after hire.

Responsibilities

• Video record Samaritan's Purse events.
• Set up ENG/EFP shoots including lighting and decor.
• Oversee production and editing from pre-shoot to final delivery.
• Collaborate with writers, producers, and directors.
• Craft cohesive stories through editing of interviews and footage.
• Coordinate logistics for international productions and customs.
• Maintain equipment and manage transport during assignments.
• Assist with editing, lighting, audio, graphics, and script shot‑sheeting.
• Produce video projects from concept to final delivery under supervision.
• All other duties as assigned.
