Do you believe that something should be done about the racism experienced by Asians in the Netherlands? Do you also enjoy filming and editing videos? And do you think it would be fun to work out different storyboards? Then this role is for you!

Iamprofiled wants to use positivity and creativity to make Dutch people aware of racism against Dutch people with an Asian background. Because this is often a subject that people prefer to avoid, iamprofiled wants to make it as light-hearted and accessible as possible. We do this by organizing various events (both physical and online) and posting social media content on various platforms. Together with the team, we work on a project basis on events or creating content.

Among other things, we have made videos about the moon festival and about the stereotypical image of Asian men. As a video team member, your role is very diverse. You indicate yourself which parts you want to participate in and which parts you might like less.

Your duties as a Video Team Member:

• Brainstorm about new video projects
• Working out storyboards

What are you bringing?

• Affinity with filming and/or editing videos
• Knowledge about editing is an advantage, but not a requirement. You will be guided by an experienced Youtuber.
• Available 3-5 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Unfortunately, as a non-profit organization we do not (yet) have a budget to reimburse you. We do offer you the following:

• Working remotely (our team outings are physical)
• Training (for the time being knowledge sharing of team members, but we would like to set up training for external parties)
