Solutions Management Group is seeking a Video Security and Access Control Technician in Davenport, IA to install, service, and maintain video surveillance and access control systems for client sites. You will work under the VS&A Project Supervisor, ensuring timely installations, system upgrades, and client training on usage and best practices.

The role requires hands-on experience with cameras, servers, VMS/NVRs, readers, and related hardware, plus ability to read schematics and manuals.

Competenze

Experience installing and maintaining video surveillance, access control, or intrusion systems.
Excellent customer service and ability to work with clients.
Physically able to travel as needed.
High school diploma or GED required.

Provides guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Installs, configures and maintains access control systems, including servers, card readers, REX devices, door position sensors, locks, and all other peripheral door equipment.
Installs, configures, and maintains video surveillance systems, including cameras, servers, VMS, NVRs, and related hardware.
Reads and understands construction drawings and schematics.
Reads and understands equipment manuals.
Services, tests, and commissions video surveillance and access control systems.
Installs and maintains software for video surveillance cameras and EAC doors.
Performs routine maintenance and system upgrades.
Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues related to video surveillance and access control systems.
Provides training and support to clients on the use of installed systems & software.
Performs accurate, detailed note keeping of system installation, maintenance, and repair.
Seeks opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
Stays updated on latest industry trends and technologies.
Achieves and maintains certifications for video surveillance and access control systems.
