Kentucky Blood Center is seeking a Communications & Marketing Intern (Paid) for Spring 2027 in Lexington, KY. The role focuses on creating compelling visual content, video production, and supporting marketing campaigns while gaining hands-on storytelling experience.

The internship involves shooting and editing videos for digital platforms, interviewing donors, and assisting with marketing materials. Applicants should be enrolled in a related program and be prepared to work up to 15 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Background in video production and social media content creation.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro.
• Photoshop and After Effects are a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Shoot, edit and produce videos for the KBC's digital platforms.
• Create short videos for social media channels.
• Assist marketing team with storytelling strategies and content.
• Interview donors and recipients for storytelling.
• Support the Marketing Production Designer with printed materials.
