WebstaurantStore is seeking a talented Video Scriptwriter to join our team. This role develops compelling scripts that educate, entertain, and drive action across marketing, brand, and educational content.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional storyteller who can transform complex topics into engaging narratives and help shape the creative direction behind each project. Approximately 60% of the role focuses on video scriptwriting and story development, with the remaining 40% supporting marketing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional writing experience in marketing, copywriting, journalism, advertising, or related fields.
• Proven experience scripting video content across multiple formats.
• Ability to translate complex topics into engaging, audience-focused stories.
• Experience researching topics and conducting stakeholder interviews.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and ability to balance feedback.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling scripts for product education, brand campaigns, social-first video content, and internal communications.
• Develop story concepts, messaging, and creative direction before scripting begins.
• Create interview guides and question frameworks for customer stories and executive interviews.
• Support marketing campaigns with advertising copy and social content across channels.
• Collaborate with video, design, paid media, procurement, and culinary teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule.
